Respectable Power and Smooth Performance

The powertrain in the Buick Enclave is the same as it has been. The 3.6L V6 delivers a respectable 310 horsepower with 266 lb-ft of torque. The Preferred trim comes standard with front-wheel drive, but the other trim levels have available all-wheel drive. The nine-speed transmission provides an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 18 in the city and 26 on the highway. The powertrain and drivetrain combine for a smooth ride that defines the Buick brand.

Attractive Exterior with a Roomy and Comfortable Interior

The 2022 model year has room for seven with third-row seating. The cabin is roomy and has plenty of comfort features. The Enclave is more luxurious than the Chevrolet Traverse, so it can compete with the luxury rivals. The third and second-row seats fold down for serious cargo space that can hold almost 40 carry-on bags. With all rows upright, the Enclave has room for five carry-on bags.

The Preferred trim includes cloth seats, captain chairs in the second row, and heated front seats. The mid-grade Essence trim upgrades to leather seats with massage and ventilation, as well as eight-way power-adjustability for the driver’s seat.

On the outside, the Preferred trim comes with 18-inch painted aluminum wheels and LED headlights and taillights. The hands-free liftgate includes a programmable lift spot that you activate by waving your foot under it.

Filled with Safety Technology

As with most new vehicles, the 2022 Buick Enclave comes standard with a plethora of safety features. All models come with OnStar and Buick Connected capabilities. All trims come standard with an HD Rear Vision Camera, Front-and-Rear Park Assist, Lane Change Alert with Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Safety Alert Seat. The Essence trim adds Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Buick added a Following Distance Indicator on the Premium trim. The Avenir trim includes upgraded safety features like High-Beam Assist and HD Surround Camera.

Plenty of Infotainment Technology

On the inside the Enclave comes with notable technology. The Preferred trim sets the standard with the Buick Infotainment System with an eight-inch color touch screen. It includes infotainment features like Bluetooth streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Siri EyesFree with Natural Voice Recognition, and several USB ports and an aux jack. You can add third-party apps to your infotainment screen, too.

The basic audio system includes six speakers and six USB ports for charging and audio input. All Enclave models can be a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

Along with the eight-inch infotainment display, the Enclave comes with a 4.2-inch color Driver Information Center with speedometer and odometer, fuel economy and range, and other vehicle information. The Enclave also comes with Remote Start and Universal Home Remote.

The top trim, the Avenir, includes upgraded technology. It has a Bose premium audio system with ten speakers, as well as convenient wireless charging. The Driver Information Center increases to eight inches. Adaptive cruise control is available on the higher-end trims but does not come standard on any of them.
